Virginia Residents
Banner & Crown is based in Virginia.
Virginia’s Consumer Data Protection Act currently applies primarily to businesses processing personal data of at least 100,000 consumers annually, or at least 25,000 consumers while deriving more than 50% of gross revenue from selling personal data. Virginia Law
You’re obviously unlikely to be anywhere near those thresholds at launch, so I would not clutter your policy with a huge VCDPA legal section right now. But it’s still smart to follow the underlying principles: collect only what you need, keep it reasonably secure, and clearly explain what you do with it. Virginia law uses those same concepts for businesses subject to the Act. Virginia Law
Children’s Privacy
Banner & Crown is not intended to knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13.
If you believe a child has provided personal information to us without appropriate permission, please contact us so we can address it.
